Storing a contact in the public directory
You can mark a contact as a Public conta ct ~ -
The contact is then stored in the local MMI mem -
ory (public) @ ~ page 3 7, fig. 32 and is available
to a ll MMI users. If a contact is not marked as a
Public contact, it is stored in the private local
MMI memory (!) and is on ly visible when the cell
phone in which it is stored is connected .
Del ete contact
Only the contacts in the MMI memory (private/
public) can be deleted.
@ Tips
- Contacts edited in the MMI directo ry cannot
be automat ica lly updat ed in the connected
ce ll phone. Audi recommends editing cell
phone contacts d irectly in the cell phone.
- Only the contacts in the MMI memory (pri-
vate/p ublic) can be edited o r deleted .
- To de lete all sha red or private contacts at
one time, select the
Delete public contact s
or Delet e private cont acts opt ion in the di-
rectory settings
