The
parking
lock
may
only
be
released
using
the
emergency
release
if
the
parking
brake
is
set.
If
it
is
not
working,
secure
the
vehicle
from
rolling
using
the
brake pedal
or
other
suitable
means,
such
as
blocking
a
front
and
a
rear
wheel.
An
unsecured
vehicle
may
roll
away,
which
increases
the
risk
of
an acci-
dent.
