ina
more
balanced
manner
to

pedal
movements.
In
the

ranges.
Air
suspension*
The
air
suspension
is
an
electronically-controlled
suspension
and
leveling
system.
The
firmness
of
the
suspension
will
adapt
to
the
driving
condi-
tions
and
the
driving
situation.
The
system
balan-
ces
out
changes
in
load.
The
vehicle
level
will
also
adapt
gradually
to
the
vehicle
speed
in
order
to
reduce
the
wind
resistance
at
high
speeds
and
in-
crease
the
ground
clearance
at
low
speeds.
The
settings
depend
on
the

Suspension
control*
The
suspension
control
uses
sensors
to
record
in-
formation
regarding
steering
movements,
brak-
ing
and
acceleration
operations
by
the
driver,
as
well
as
information
about
the
road
surface,
driv-
ing
speed,
and
load.
This
makes
it
possible
to
adapt
damping
to
the
driving
situation
nearly
in
real
time.
With
drive select,
you
can
adjust
the
suspension
control
to
sporty
(Dynamic),
comfort-
able
(Comfort)
or
balanced
(Auto).

The

provides
sporty,
direct
steering.
Applies
to:
vehicles
with
dynamic
steering:
The
steering
ratio
changes
based
on
vehicle
speed
in
order
to
maintain
optimum
steering
effort
for
the
driver
at
all
times.
This
sets
the
steering
to
be
less
sensitive
at
higher
speeds
in
order
to
pro-
vide
improved
vehicle
control.
At
reduced
speeds,
steering
is
more
direct
in
order
to
keep
the
steer-
ing
effort
as
minimal
as
possible
when
the
driver
is
maneuvering
the
vehicle.
Dynamic

ance

suspension
Make
sure
there
is
enough
clearance
above
and
below
the
vehicle
when
parking.
The
height
of
the
vehicle
(ground
clearance)
can
change
once
it
is
parked
due
to
temperature
fluctuations,
changes
to
the
load
condi-
tions,
and
changes
to
the
driving
modes.
When
transporting
the
vehicle
on
a
road
carrier,
rail
carrier,
ship
carrier,
or
other
car-
rier,
it
may
only
be
secured
at
the
running
surfaces
of
the
tires
(circumference).
Secur-
ing
the
vehicle
at
the
axle
components,
sus-
pension
struts,
or
towing
eyes
is
not
permit-
ted
because
the
pressure
in
the
air

can
change
during
transport.
The
vehicle
might
not
be
secured
sufficiently
if
this
happens.
