POWER RESERVE DISPLAY
The power reserve display indicates the per-
centage of the total drivetrain power that is
additionally available.
The value depends on the current speed,
acceleration or inclination of the road. The
power reserve is reduced if the power re-
quest from the rider or from rider assistance
systems, such as cruise control, increases.
The power reserve display is helpful for as-
sessment of the capacity to accelerate or the
gear selection, e.g. when riding uphill.
INDICATOR LIGHTS
Layout
Warnings are indicated by the correspond-
ing warning light.
Warnings are indicated by the general warn-
ing light in combination with a dialog in the
TFT display. Depending on how urgent the
warning is, the general warning light will ei-
ther light up or blink yellow or red.
The general warning light lights up for
whichever warning is most urgent at
the current time.
You will find an overview of the potential
warnings on the following pages.
Check Control display
The messages in the display are shown dif-
ferently in the display. Different colors and
characters are used depending on the prior-
ity:
Green CHECK OK 1: no message, values
optimal.
White circle with small "i" 2: information.
Yellow warning triangle 3: warning mes-
sage, value not optimal.
Red warning triangle 3: warning message,
value critical
Value display
The icons 4 are displayed differently. Dif-
ferent colors are used depending on the
assessment of value. Instead of numerical
values 5 with units 6, texts can also be dis-
played.
