The gearbox changes down automatically or holds the gear selected until the maximum engine speed is reached. M appears and the engaged gears are shown in succession on the instrument panel. It is only possible to change from one gear to another if the vehicle speed and engine speed permit.

The driver therefore remains responsible for deciding whether or not to follow the indications issued by the system. The system reactivates automatically whenever the engine is started by the driver. The system triggers an alert as soon as it detects a drop in the inflation pressure of one or more tyres.

Under-inflation detection does not replace the need for vigilance on the part of the driver. The inflation pressures defined for the vehicle can be found on the tyre pressure label. Check the pressures of the four tyres before performing the reinitialisation.
