Manual Description
Be sure to maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead. The vehicle speed will only be determined by the position of the accelerator pedal. Resuming a set speed that is too high or too low for prevailing traffic and road conditions could cause the vehicle to accelerate or decelerate too sharply for safe operation.
This additional acceleration is triggered when the driver utilizes the left turn signal and will only be active when passing on the left hand side. The sensor is located in the center of the vehicle behind the lower grille. Once the vehicle is out of the curve the system will resume your original set speed.
Some narrow vehicles traveling near the outer edges of the lane or edging into the lane are not detected until they have moved fully into the lane. The system will indicate a detected obstacle by showing a single arc in one or more regions based on the obstacle's distance and location relative to the vehicle. Obstacles located above or below the sensors will not be detected when they are in close proximity.
