Manual Description
Checking the Throttle: With the engine off, check that the throttle rotates smoothly from fully closed to fully open in all steering positions and throttle freeplay is correct. If the throttle does not move smoothly, close automatically, or if the cable is damaged, have the motorcycle inspected by your dealer. Rebound Damping: You can adjust the rebound damping by the adjuster to suit the load or the road surface. Turn clockwise to increase rebound damping (hard), or turn counterclockwise to decrease rebound damping (soft).
The standard position is approximately 1 1/2 turns from the maximum setting so that the punch mark on the adjuster aligns with the reference punch mark. Adjusting the Brakelight Switch: Check the operation of the brake light switch. Turn the adjusting nut in the direction A if the switch operates too late, or turn the nut in the direction B if the switch operates too soon.
