Rims:
The rims are a dro p-ce nt er, tubeless tire design .
Take care not to damage
the sealing surfaces o f the
tire or rim when removin g or installing t ire s. Note that
the rim s, like automotive rims, are not s y mmetrical
and should be instal
ledinonedirectiononly. All
wheels mus t be installed so that the valve stems ar e
on the outside of the v ehicle.
Tires:
The front and rear tires are directional knobby
tubeless tires. Whe
n replacing tires, check the
valve stems and cores for damage. Take care not
to damage the tire sealing surfaces of the rims. Be
certain the direct
ional arrows on the tires indicate
rolling forward.
Standard Tires (Tubeless)
Front AT22 × 7-10
MAXXIS, M937
Rear AT22 × 10-10
MAXXIS, M938
NOTE
Tires are an important part of the suspension on
your ATV. Tire construction characteristics and
tire inflation pressure can greatly influence vehicle
handling. Kawasaki recommends that you always
replace tires with standard replacement tires as
shown here. It is also very important to have
tires of the same type and size, and at the same
inflation pressure, on one axle.
Installation of non-standard tires, or use of differ-
ent tires on one axle, can change the handling of
the vehicle and possibly result in a loss of control.
Installation of tubeless tires on rims requires com-
pressed air and is normally recommended as a
dealer service operation. However, a tube can be
inserted into the tire by the operator as an emer-
gency repair.
Payload and Tire Pressure
Failure to maintain prop er inflation pressures or
observe payload limits for your tires may adversely
affect handling and performance of your vehicle and
can result in loss of control. The maximum recom-
mended load carrying capacity of this vehicle is 164
kg (362 lb).
Use the tire pressure gauge in the tool kit to accu-
rately set tire pressure.
