Recommended C oolant
Solution
Coolant Mixture Ratio:
Water 50%: Antifreeze 50% (1 : 1)
Recommended Antifreeze:
Permanent type antifreeze (ethylene glycol
plus corrosion and rust inhibitor chemicals for
aluminum engines and radiator).
NOTE
○
In an emergency you can add water alone to the
cool
ant reserve tank, however it must be returned
to the correct mixture ratio by the addition of an-
tifreeze concentrate as soon as possible.
NOTICE
If coolant must be added often, or the coolant
re
serve tank completely runs dry, there is
probably leakage in the system. Have the
cooling system inspected by your authorized
K
awasaki dealer.
Coolant Change
Have the coolant changed by an authorized
Kawasaki dealer.
R
adiator Hoses
Radiator hoses and connections should be
checked periodically by an authorized Kawasaki
d
ealer in accordance with the Periodic Maintena nce
Chart.
