Fuel Tank Vent
The fuel tank vent hos
The engine may stall or lose power if the fuel tank
vent is plugged or if t
he vent hose is pinched. Inspect
the vent hose before driving and whenever the en-
gine seems to lose power. If the fuel tank is full but
f it is running out of fuel, check
the vent hose.

This system routes f
uel vapors from the fuel sys-
tem into the running engine or stores the vapors in
a canister when the engine is stopped. Although no
adjustments are req
uited, a thorough visual inspec-
tion must be made at the intervals specified by the
“Periodic Maintenance Chart”.
Check that the hoses are securely connected.
