Green Neutral Indica
tor Light:
When the transmission is in neutral, the neutral
indicator light is lit.
Red Seat-Belt Use Reminder:
Whentheignitionswitchisturnedon,theseat-belt
use reminder light will come on and stay on for ap-
proximately 8 seconds, even if the operato r’s belt
is buckled. The light is a reminder to the operator
to make sure that all passengers have buckled their
seat belts. If the vehicle starts m oving without buck-
ling the operator ’s belt, the seat-belt use reminder
starts blinking.
Red Coolant Temperature Warning Indicator
Light:
The coolant temperature warning indicator light
stays on whenever the coolant temperature rises too
high while the vehicle is in operation. If it stays on,
stop the engine and check the coolant level in the
coolant reserve tank after the engine coo ls down.
Be sure t o check that the radiator f an is free from
mud and other obstacles. See Breaker section in the
“MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTME NT” chapter.

Do not let the engine continue running with
a warning indicator light staying on. Pro-
longed engine o
peration can result in engine
damage from overheating.
NOTE

When you touch the fan, be sure to disconnect
the (–) cable of the battery, since the fan can turn
automatically even with the ignition switch off.
Red Oil Pressure Warning Indicator Light:
The oil pressure warning indicator light blinks to
warn the operator whenever the oil pressure is dan-
gerously low or the
ignition switch is in the “ON” po-
sition with the engine not running, and goes off when
the engine oil pressure is high enough. Refer to the
“MAINTENANCE AND A
DJUSTMENT” chapter for
more detailed en gin e oil inform ation .
