If not properly adjusted horizontally,
the beam will point to one side rather
than straight ahead.
•
To move the headlight beam upward,
turn the both adjuste rs clockwise
same number.
•
To move the headlight beam down-
ward, turn the both adjusters coun-
terclockwise same number.
•
If adjusted too low, neither low nor
high beam will illuminate the road far
enough ahead. If adjusted too high,
the high be am will fail to illuminate
the road close ahead, and the low
beam will blind oncoming drivers.
NOTE
○
On high beam, the brightest points
should be sligh tly belo w horizon tal.
The proper angle is 0.4 degrees be-
low horizontal. This is a 50 mm (2.0
in.) drop at 7.6 m (25 ft) measured
from the center of the headlight, with
themotorcycleonitswheelsandthe
rider seated.

Fuses
Fuses are arranged in the fuse boxes
located behind the side cover and right
radiator cover. The main fuse is located
