If necessary switch off the daytime running lights using the menu before going on a ride or when stopped so that the low beam is switched on permanently. Different tire tread patterns can make the vehicle significantly more difficult to control. Make sure that only tires with a similar tire tread pattern are fitted to the front and rear wheel.
Get used to the handling characteristic of the motorcycle on suitable terrain before undertaking a more challenging ride. Hold the handlebar firmly with both hands and keep your feet on the footrests when riding. Mount and secure cases and tank rucksack according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Read the manufacturer information on maximum payload when mounting cases. Do not exceed maximum permissible weight and maximum permissible axle loads. The vehicle must be in perfect technical condition when it is being operated.
