6.1 Clutch lever

The clutch lever
is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
The clutch is hydraulically operated and self-adjusting.
6.2 Hand brake lever

Hand brake lever
is fitted on the right side of the handlebar.
The hand brake lever is used to activate the front brake.
6.3 Throttle grip

is fitted on the right side of the handlebar.
6.4 Kill switch

Kill switch
is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
Possible states
• Kill switch in basic position – In this position, the ignition circuit is closed, and
the engine can be started.
• Kill switch pressed – In this position, the ignition circuit is interrupted, a run-
ning engine stops, and a non-running engine will not start.
6.5 Opening the filler cap
Danger
Fire hazard Fuel is highly flammable.
The fuel in the fuel tank expands when warm and can escape if overfilled.
– Do not refuel the vehicle in the vicinity of open flames or lit cigarettes.
– Switch off the engine for refueling.
– Make sure that no fuel is spilled; particularly not on hot parts of the vehicle.
– If any fuel is spilled, wipe it off immediately.
– Observe the specifications for refueling.
