Manual Description
The brake assist equipment does not supersede the functionality of the vehicle's main braking system. Depress the clutch pedal all the way down while shifting; then release it slowly. This reduces the chance of stalling and gives better acceleration when you need more speed.
The vehicle will roll freely even on the slightest incline unless the parking brake or brakes are on. Remove the shift-lock override cover using a cloth-wrapped flat head screwdriver. The gear is fixed in second while in this mode for easier starting and driving on slippery roads.
The power steering system is inoperable when the power steering malfunction indicator light illuminates. Accelerate if you want to speed up temporarily when the cruise control is on. Depressing the accelerator will not increase engine power and freeing the vehicle may be difficult.
