Use of a vacuum assist or power bleeder will not purge all the air from the system. Slide bleeding connector (1) in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure. Depress the clutch pedal soon and hold it, and then bleed the air from the piping.
Check that the fluid level in the reservoir tank is within the specified range after air bleeding. Remove stopper rubber and pedal stopper rubber from clutch P pedal, using a suitable remover. If damage or deformation is found, replace stopper rubber and pedal stopper rubber.
Remove lock pin (1) from connector of master cylinder (2) and separate clutch tube (3). Rotate master cylinder clockwise by 45 degrees and then remove master cylinder from the vehicle. Tilt master cylinder clockwise by 45 degrees (A) and insert it to the mounting hole.
