Manual Description
Fuel cut will operate until the engine speed reaches 1,500 rpm, then fuel cut is cancelled. I Do not attempt to top off the fuel tank after the fuel pump nozzle shuts off automatically. Connect a spare fuel hose, one side to fuel gauge retainer where the hose was removed and the other side to a fuel container.
When a stick is inserted, the valve should open, when removing stick it should close. Normally, the capacity of the valve is sufficient to handle any blow-by and a small amount of ventilating air. On vehicles with an excessively high blow-by, the valve does not meet the requirement.
This is because some of the flow will go through the hose connection to the air inlet tubes under all conditions. Many electronic control units are equipped onto a vehicle, and each control unit shares information and links with other control units during operation (not independent). Each control unit transmits/receives data but selectively reads required data only.
