Instead, they produce light when a high voltage current is passed between two tungsten electrodes through a mixture of xenon (an inert gas) and certain other metal halides. Pull combination lamp toward the front of the vehicle, disconnect connector and remove from vehicle. Turn the front park/turn signal lamp bulb socket counterclockwise and remove bulb. Daytime light lamps are not turned on if engine is activated with parking brake on.

Check voltage between parking brake switch harness connector M36 terminal 1 and ground. Under this condition, the headlamps remain illuminated for 5 minutes, then the headlamps are turned off. Under this condition, the fog lamps (and headlamps) remain illuminated for 5 minutes, then the fog lamps (and D headlamps) are turned off.
