Keep a close check on charge condition to prevent over-discharge. E To determine if a battery has been sulphated”, note its voltage and current when charging it. Read hydrometer and thermometer indications at eye level.
Never turn on the charger first, as this may cause a spark. Always charge battery at a temperature below 55 °C (131 °F). The charging amps indicated above refer to initial charge rate.
If its condition is questionable, use circuit tester or test lamp. Find the desired connector number on the connector list. On the drawing, find the crossing of the grid reference letter column and number row.
