Manual Description
Repeat pumping brake pedal carefully several times, then perform self-diagnosis again. Failure to do so may result in damage to the sensor wires making the sensor inoperative. This system includes seat belt switch inputs and dual stage front air bag modules.
Besides electrical system inspection, check booster operation, brake fluid level, and oil leaks. Make sure there is no interference with other parts when turning steering both clockwise and counterclockwise. When starting engine, or just after starting vehicle, brake pedal may vibrate or motor operating noises may be heard from engine compartment.
At this time, output from control unit controls brake fluid pressure to spinning wheels while cutting fuel to engine to reduce engine torque. Each control unit transmits/receives data but selectively reads required data only. In some cases, it will be necessary to check symptom by driving vehicle with D customer.
