The intervals given in the periodic maintenance charts should be simply considered as a general guide under normal riding conditions. The spark plug cap may be difficult to remove because the rubber seal on the end of the cap fits tightly. Place the vehicle on a level surface and hold it in an upright position.
Place the vehicle on a level surface and let the engine cool if necessary. Remove the coolant reservoir cover and coolant reservoir by removing the bolts and collars. Remove the coolant drain bolt and its gasket to drain the cooling system.
Pour the specified amount of the recommended coolant into the radiator and reservoir. Safety in all conditions of riding depends on a relatively small area of road contact. Old and aged tires shall be checked by tire specialists to ascertain their suitability for further use.
