Manual Description
Place the motorcycle on a level surface and hold it in an upright position. The engine should never be operated without the mesh and the sponge material. Check the hoses at the bottom of the air filter case for accumulated dirt or water.
The carburetor is an important part of the engine and requires very sophisticated adjustment. Safety in all conditions of riding depends on a relatively small area of road contact. Old and aged tires shall be checked by tire specialists to ascertain their suitability for further use.
Operating the motorcycle with excessively worn tires decreases riding stability and can lead to loss of control. The front and rear brake shoes must be checked for wear at the intervals specified in the periodic maintenance and lubrication chart. The swingarm pivots must be lubricated at the intervals specified in the periodic maintenance and lubrication chart.
