Navigation: When you confirm a special destination selection, it is imported as a new navigation destination. Nearest to position: This special destination refers to the area immediately surrounding the current vehicle position. This function is especially helpful if you want to make a stop before reaching your final destination. Your list of special destinations is sorted in ascending order based on the distance to your destination.
The distance displayed for special destinations is a straight-line distance and can be considerably less than the actual road distance. In destination area: This special destination refers to the final destination (already determined) and is useful, for example, when you are looking for a nearby hotel. In new city: This special destination is not assigned to any previously selected destination. It relates to the city entered with the speller (page 25).
This function gives you an overview of existing special destinations of a selected city. In selected country: This special destination is not assigned to any city or previously selected destination. You will receive a list of all possible special destinations in each country. For example, you could list all the airports in a country.
Special destinations are particular destinations which can be selected directly.
