It is always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions. The electronic stability control portion of the system helps avoid skids and lateral slides and the traction control system helps avoid drive wheel spin and loss of traction. You can turn off the traction control portion of the system independently.
The sensing system warns the driver of obstacles within a certain range of the bumper area. The system visually and/or audibly instructs the driver to park the vehicle. Use the turn signal to indicate which side of the vehicle you want the system to search on.
The steering wheel position will not indicate the actual position of the steering and you have to full take control of the vehicle. The rear view camera system provides a video image of the area behind the vehicle. The image will be displayed in either in the rear view mirror or the display in the center of the instrument panel.
