The vehicle hydroplanes while driving at high speed on wet or slick roads. Drive the vehicle carefully in conditions where stability and power may be lost. The hill-start assist control may not operate effectively on steep inclines and roads covered with ice.
Be especially careful and drive at a speed appropriate to the road conditions. Use only when the road conditions and safety of the surrounding area can be ensured. Always drive the vehicle in a manner appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions.
Have the vehicle fitted with four snow tires or purchase a set of tire chains for the rear tires. Remove any snow or mud from the bottom of your shoes before getting in the vehicle. Grip the hook section of the wiper arm firmly when shifting the wiper position.
