Malfunctions
▷ If the closing force exceeds a certain value
when closing the cargo cover, for example
due to items in the range of motion, the cover
will disengage from the mounting. The cargo
cover stops in the guide rail.
To restore the functionality, close the cargo
cover by hand, arrow 1, until it engages in the
mounting, arrow 2.
▷ Excessive or insufficient ambient tempera‐
tures may lead to the deactivation of the
cargo cover. When the temperature is within
normal range again, such as by switching on
the air conditioner, the function will be re‐
stored.
▷ The function will be deactivated when the
system can no longer detect the position of
the cargo cover. An initialization is required.
Initializing
Functional requirements
▷ Vehicle is parked in a horizontal position.
▷ Drive-ready state is activated.
▷ The area of movement of the cargo cover is
clear.
▷ External temperature is above 41 ℉/5 ℃.
Initializing the system
Press and hold the button until the initiali‐
zation is finished.
The cargo cover moves to the different positions.
The initialization is finished when a signal
sounds.
If the button is released prematurely, the cargo
cover will stop. The initialization is terminated.
Press and hold the button to restart the initializa‐
tion.
